need to send a packet altered to a server, but need to send the same socket and port used for normal program packages.
any ideas?

I hook api and sending will be the same socket and port standard?

If you hook the method they use to send data then yes you will have access to that same socket.

If you debug and reverse a bit more, you can specifically find the send/receive functions that the game implements itself that you can hook onto as well.

Look around for information on detouring API / functions. I do not want to hold your hand and just give you code.

for example:
1. Hook function / api
2. Sending my function
3. Normally return
