				| Can't wait to have it set up. Powered it on, then tried to configure but it's not compatible wit the keyboard I currently use for my PC. SO RIP me and I have to go out and buy a new keyboard for my pi.

I'm not creative enough to own a Raspberry Pi and find something useful for it that's actually worth my money.

				just a pro tip here:

start buying extra hardware. a rasperbi pi is not good by itself.

go to a hobby store and buy some mini servo motors, buy some led panels online and lots and lots of jumpers.

wat

I don't have anything except a case and I'm having lots of fun with software.

I'm using it as a dedicated server for:

1. Developing my client's websites before I move it to their hosting

2. A seedbox that I can access using transmission's web client

3. A media server to stream my chinese cartoons

4. Anything else I come across to play with in debian

but that's not a rasperbi pi, you are just playing with linux xP

I believe a VPS would be better suited for that. (because of the 1Gbps up and down and price.)

A vps with half a gig of ram, 3tb storage, and unmetered bandwidth would be like $15 a month at least (they don't even have storage plans that big with small vps's).

I bought it for $40 and it costs nothing to run, I have 2x1.5tb external satas with their own power supply, so overall a much better deal.

My usage is pretty specific though, just pointing out there's a lot you can do with a cheap dedicated linux machine.

2 external 1.5TB hard drives are not cheap at all.

You don't even need that much RAM for streaming.

2TB bandwidth with most VPS services.

the 1Gbps is the actual main feature for a little VPS, specially if you want to download a lot of movies.

but yeah, if you just had those external hhds doing nothing, that's a good way to put them at use.

not really unlimited bandie + the fact that you are using it

and even with all that much disk, theres still nothing much you can do with such an underpowered cpu

i dont see it being much useful

this is good: http://hardkernel.com/main/products/prdt_info.php
