So, there's this strange phenomenon that happens with a few of my "friends" (hereafter referred to bullshitters).

These bullshitters love to tell stories to everyone about awesome things (whether it's something they did or saw).

I'll give you an example:

Today, I was at the cafe in my college sitting with my friends, and here comes the bullshitter! He comes on and starts talking about the super bowl (hereafter referred to the superb owl). He said how some guy bet $300,000 on the Seahawks and won. I asked him how much (since it's a pretty large sum). He said oh, he won $100,000 just like that, but he kept all that money as they used PayPal to avoid fee's.

In my head I'm thinking, yeah... 100,000 is a bit much but I'll let that slide. How the fuck do you avoid taxes on PayPal? I dismiss it as him being ignorant on the subject, and just let it be.

Then, I side track and do other shit. I later hear him talking about Grand Theft Auto being on android. He said he had an android phone and because it was android, it downloaded GTA really fast. Retarded logic, but it gets worst. Some guy says "What?? There's GTA 5 on the android!?" I stepped in and said "No, GTA 5 isn't on android, the latest version is San Andreas."

Now, here comes the bullshitter to save the day! He says "No, GTA 5 isn't on android, but GTA IV is" I got fed up at this point, and said "GTA IV isn't on android, if it was, it'd be a top seller." He then replies "No, it's not a top seller because it's bad on the phone. You know, a mobile version."

Holy shit, a mobile version of GTA IV, I never knew this existed D:. I searched anything GTA IV on the play store and only found GTA IV cheats...

After this, I simply just said I had something to do and left, I can't stand bullshit.

Now, you can't argue with these people. If you bring up any flaws in their statement, they near-instantaneously come up with a counter argument to defend themselves. You can pretty much force them to come up with a creative as fuck story, and I honest to god think that they believe what they're saying. How the fuck do you deal with these types of people?

Paypal thing : I guess depends of the law regulations on virtual goods.
They might be just ignorant and will receive a huge fine for tax evasion though.

GTA: There are ports of GTAIV for android, it is a thing, but I'm pretty sure it is not a licensed version.

Wow, if that happened to me once I really wouldn't give a fuck. But I do see and know how it gets annoying when the same guy tells the same kind of bullshit all the time. Especially that last part about them really believing whatever they're saying even after bringing up the flaws in their statement while they know damn well they just kind of made it up.

Like the other day I was playing TERA with a friend. We had just created a new character and beat the first boss, after which you get a 'Tower Base Teleport'-scroll and you gotta go talk to someone at the tower base. But he went like "OMG, I have to walk all the way back? This is fucking boring!" so I said "No, you should have gotten a teleport scroll you can use" and then he said "No this is a tower base scroll, it won't teleport me to where I need to be", and he then proceeded to walk all the way back instead of using it, just because he couldn't admit he was wrong. He knew I had used my scroll to teleport to the base, but kept on insisting that the scroll he had wasn't the same as the one I had used.

Then later my inventory was full while I was in the middle of a forest so I started throwing away my low level equipment that I wasn't using anymore. And he was all like ''Dude what are you doing, don't throw that away, you need to sell it to the merchant!'', and I was like ''Nah, don't need it, I already bought everything I'd want to and I still have a whole lot of extra money left.''. Then he went like ''Yeah now you don't need any extra money but you'll see you'll need it later man!'' so I went "Selling all these would get me 20 silver tops. Right now monsters drop about 2 silver, so when I'll be higher level I'll be able to make a lot more in just a minute by killing monsters. Not gonna waste my time running to town and back" but he kept on insisting that I was making a mistake and should go back to the village to sell my items instead of throwing them away.

Oh my god, and I just remembered this, I was talking to this guy about what we should do if aliens ever decided to visit earth, and he said we should start attacking them immediately so they won't have a chance of enslaving us. I said attacking them would be fucking stupid as they'd have the technology to FUCKING TRAVEL TO OTHER PLANETS so I'm pretty sure they'd be advanced enough to win a war against us. Attacking them would be the worst possible thing to do. I tried talking some sense into him by comparing it to when European explorers discovered America and murdered and enslaved most the Native Americans and took their land. But then he said that most of them died because of diseases the Europeans brought with them, instead of being murdered. And though this changed absolutely nothing about my statement, he thought that by saying that he had proven to be smarter than me and his theory would magically become right or something. It's always the same thing with this guy! No matter how well you explain the facts, he will just throw a random argument back at you that doesn't even have anything to do with it and think he has won.

And I know these things sound really stupid to rant about, but when the same guy always says the same kind of bullshit you get fucking sick of it!

I agree with the bullshitters, feed them more false information, and then laugh when they start talking to you and you get furious about it

He was sitting right next to me, I saw and showed him the scroll in his inventory, but he said it wasn't the right one. I don't even think there's an other Tower Base besides the one on the tutorial island in the game.
Normally I wouldn't care about such trivial things, but he had been staying at my house for 4 days now doing nothing but complaining and saying how hard his life was and how terrible his parents are. I mean there's no problem with complaining about life once in a while but don't do it for 4 fucking days straight, it drives people crazy. It gets really hard to keep being supportive. Then when we started playing TERA he started complaining about stuff in the game and how his class sucked and had terrible skills etc.
