so i was installing cheat engine today and i know it has this hao123 thing and chose not to install it but the installer completely ignored that and installed it anyway do i not get a choice here, i get that you need these sort of thing but forced installation.. that surprised me and now my browser got hi-jacked this by hao123 this is just messy stuff.

Where'd you download your cheat engine installer from?
And what size was the installer?

i got it from cheatengine-dot-org first result if you google cheat engine and size is 7.69 MB

I got nothing about "hao123" when I installed it.
Did you select not to install the avg bar and sendori?

i do not get that it's only hao123 toolbar maybe it depends on the region am in?

i get RealPlayer offer and Baidu PC Faster and baidu installs hao123 toolbar

Google "hao123 remove" and you will find instructions on how to remove it. Yeah it's not a nice program, but I guess it can be removed if you follow all the steps.

The offers are depending on your region, but if you select "no", it should not install anything (in theory).
