Hello, i am new to this cheat engine and trainer and want to learn to do it myself, when i try to change the health value in DmC Devil May Cry, i found the value in the cheat engine but when i change the value, the game health does not change, and when the health changes in the game, the value in cheat engine also changes, sorry for my bad english............... someone has a solution??? thank you.

In basic, you could have changed the wrong address...

Example 1:
- address 0x800000 = 1000
- address 0x800400 = 1000
- address 0x8004EC = 1000
- address 0x800800 = 1000
you change address 0x800400, but the real value address is 0x800800.
No result then...

Example 2:
- address 0x800000 = 1000 --> as seen on your screen
- address 0x800400 = 10000 -> the real value = value on screen x 10
so any change to 0x800000 won't do any good...

But then again: as i recall, DmC uses bars as health gauge. Were you
really sure that your value is the exac one (since gauge bars have no
any numeric values shown) in the right data-type?

If i'm not mistaken, 1 gauge bar equals to 1000.00 in float data-type...
CMIIW...

Also, there may be some DmC CT tables posted in table section. We can
surely learn something from them...

Thanks Zaladine for reply, I found two addresses actually both showing the value of the gauge and found out the maximum values of the gauges but they changes with the gauges in the game so i think i may found the addresses but little confused, i will check out the table and will it be possible to find out the real addresses??? thank you.

If you nop the instruction that writes to your memory address does it make you immortal? If not then you don't have the health memory address.
