It's been a couple of days since I made a topic in the RPG section, and so far nobody's responded. I take a look at the next post and its been a few weeks since it's been posted up. I tried to send a PM to some of the more experienced cheaters around (or rather, anyone experienced as I barely have a clue as to what I'm doing) but the forum won't let me do anything unless I've got more posts under my belt...

The system seems to work against anyone new, which seems problematic if you're trying to find out something. How's someone to learn if they can't ask for help directly to another person?

And no I'm not whoever the old Diceroller is, now that I've had more time to explore the forum. Christ, I picked the wrong username...

From my point of view:
1. I won't answer any specific games questions (regards hacking them) if i don't play them.
2. I won't answer any specific games questions (regards hacking them) if i have inadequate knowledge regards them, even if i play them.
3. I won't answer any specific games questions (regards hacking them) if they are multiplayer online games since it is restricted by forum rules.

So, to sum it up based on this forum 'pattern', you'll get better chance of replies if:
- lots of forum members play the game
- the questions isn't too hard to answer
- the game is not a multiplayer online game.

Above everything, please be advised that lots of members here are actually very helpful...

I've no doubt they're helpful! There's lots of helpful people out there, and I'm sure that if I wait patiently enough and keep asking, I'm bound to get some answer. If someone has the patience to take a look into my question and study the type of game I'm playing, I'll be all too happy to hear their answer and hopefully cheat the game properly.

Your mistake is that you posted your topic in the gaming discussion section. That section is only to talk about games, not to talk about cheats.
You should have posted it in single player cheat request, or general gamehacking

The second problem is that it sounds like a multiplayer request (dice changing) which no one on this forum is allowed to help you with

As for your name, that's just a tag that shows the name of the person that reads it. If you log out, it'll show another name

First off, love the Dashie face.
Second, why is nobody allowed to help with cheating at dice rolling? Is it because it's impossible, or because there's a law suit? It's just a game played with like, 2 to 6 characters, not a mmo or anything...

Third, if I cannot get it from this forum or website in particular, would it be against the rules for you to point me in the direction of where I might procure this knowledge for myself?

Mainly because it's not possible (the server sends you the results, you don't generate them)

And to prevent annoyances like someone claiming that an memory address in a game might belong to the owner of the game, who then sends a DMCA claim to my host, who shuts down the site, while I dispute that claim. Single player games generally don't care about stuff like that

As for help with this, I don't know, it's like trying to change a physical thing (the memory of another computer) with a program running on your own

e.g: The calculator running on my computer right now holds the value 4950
Do you think you can use cheat engine from your computer to change that value in the calculator (without me installing any kind of backdoor/server)

yyeaah, not sure why I thought it was possible... I guess I'll just have to take all these crappy rolls then.
