Just curious about the topic.
There isn't much documentation in the net in regards hardware spoofing.
I know that you can't physically change your hardware id ofc, but you can hook functions which retrieve it. My question is, are there any kernel function that deals with retrieving hardware info?

You could hook the functions that an application uses to get the hardware info and change those results, but if it uses low level functions to query hardware directly then you have to use a virtual machine to emulate ports and memory (dbvm does something similar) _________________
