Open the debug event window when debugging
It will then receive all events like exceptions.
The last unexpected exceptions tends to be the one that caused the crash. Rightclick it to see the EIP and other information _________________

Hmm this doesn't seem to work on Hackshield. When Hackshield crashes silently, it generates a ACCESS_VIOLATION with eip = 0x64 and all the registers are junk (including the values of esp and ebp). Any idea on how they did it?
The only idea I have is that they did something like
push 0x64

So, I recently found some opcodes that crash the game using the method described. Problem is when I nop the three addresses out it only prevents the game from crashing 10% of the time. Any idea why that is? _________________
