SendMessage( hWndOfYourControl, EM_SETCUEBANNER, (WPARAM)FALSE, (LPARAM)pszMessageText );

Get the hWnd of your control from either storing it after you create it via CreateWindowEx, or if you are using a dialog window, use GetDlgItem to get it based on it's control id.

Store the text you want as a null terminated Unicode string.

I'm not sure as I almost always try to avoid unicode wherever I can but have you tried (LPARAM)L"PACKET" _________________ Do not ask me about online cheats. I don't know any and wont help finding them. Like my help? Join me on Patreon so i can keep helping
