|
|
I always see stuff like this, but never really questioned it due to its sheer idocracy. I was hoping someone Christian could quickly comment on this.
I know they're missionaries simply trying to covert people, but why do it like this? The Christians I personally know have great morale and would never push religion onto anyone, let alone spend a whole chunk of time everyday scaring people into believing in some almighty saviour.
Is there a section in the bible that suggests a relationship between # of people converted and extent of reward? |

83% of Americans claim to be Christian
I am willing to bet that only 10%-20% actually follow the faith the way its supposed to be followed |

So glad I'm in college now. Back in highschool, you'd be alienated quite a bit for being atheist where I'm from.
I was one of 2 Atheists and 1 Agnostic in a population of 2k or so. |

I did until my junior year, then I just didn't care. By that point I was cool with most people in my graduating class and they knew me enough personally to be fine with it.
Anyone else though or, god forbid, people who didn't know what atheist even means...those people sucked. Most thought it meant you believe in satan. |
