Well, your character is a tanky dps/bruiser. Madred's isn't viable anymore. You have no armor or magic resist. Did you get bursted down quick?

There are only very rare circumstances where it makes sense to buy two of the same items, and even less when if you're talking about serious play. Doran's items (ring, blade) are the only items you should stack if you're playing seriously. If you're just trying to rape face, you can stack BTs for AD or archangel staffs for AP. And then tiamats, stacking tiamats is always viable.

Apart from that you should never stack the same items. IE is terrible to stack because it's way more expensive than a BT due its passive, which doesn't stack (not that it would make sense if it did), which means you're wasting money. Any time it says UNIQUE Passive as opposed to just Passive, it doesn't stack.

Volibear is generally played as a tank. Going ham on damage I guess is working for you now because teams aren't coordinated at all. Just know that when you get to level 30, going AD volibear won't work too well. But it's fine for getting up there.

Madred's bloodrazor is really not that good of an item anymore, and it's definitely not that good in that game. It's only good against super tanky champions. Ones with dicktons of armor and lots and lots of health. Only two of your enemies in that game had items that gave them armor (one was an aura, but a weak one), and none of them were by any means tanky. The big reason why MBR is a bad item is because it's soooo damn expensive and only useful in very, very specific circumstances. You could have used that money to buy a GA, you would have been doing hardly any less damage and you would have gotten a second life and been way tankier, but that didn't seem to be a problem for you. You could have gotten a Phantom Dancer and you would have attacked way faster, had a much higher crit chance (which synergizes with your IE passive), and would have had a higher move speed, overall making you a much meaner killing machine. Both GA and PD are like a full thousand gold cheaper than MBR.

If you would have gotten PD+second BT instead of MBR+second IE, you would have done more damage, be faster, and had almost 2000 more gold still to spend on whatever the fuck at that point. Possibly selling your wriggles for a warmogs or something.
