I really wanted to post this on fb, but people would likely not read it past the first line and assume I'm an asshole. So here guys

So this Amanda Todd person...let me get this straight. She flashed a guy online in 7th grade, the guy makes a facebook profile with her boobs a year later, people teased her so she started doing drugs and drinking(assuming 8th grade here). Because of that, loses her friends and respect so changes schools. Starts talking to a guy who she knows has a girlfriend. Guy asks her to go over because his GF is away. She agrees, goes over, has sex(still 8th grade here if I'm following the video correctly). The GF finds out, beats her up in front of some people at school, so she goes lay in a ditch. Dad picks her up, she goes home, drinks bleach, goes to hospital, gets flushed. People post on facebook, tagging her in ditches and bottles of bleach. She gets antidepressants then proceeds to overdose soon after, hospital for a couple days. Now she's found and evidence is pointing toward suicide.

Look guys, death, and especially suicide are very sad things. Bullying isn't cool and it hurts people, we all know that. But everything snowballed out of something she did or didn't do. Even after she flashed the guy, when he started messaging her, she could've easily gone to the police judging by what she said he told her. That would've stopped the page from ever happening. Even if it did happen, then she definitely didn't need to start abusing drugs and alcohol. This is 8th grade for her now, mind you. Then after moving schools and everything is getting better, she gets messages from the guy again and still does nothing about it, then proceeds to sleep with a guy knowing he has a gf. After getting hit by the girl, she goes lay in a ditch for whatever reason(hell when I feel depressed, I don't lay in a ditch, it's a ditch). She either did this in a very public area or told people about it, even though she says she has no friends. How would people've known otherwise?

See what I'm saying here? Yes it's sad that this happened, but had things been done differently: like calling the police, not sleeping with that guy in 8th grade, not resorting to drugs and alcohol, not telling whoever would listen that she drank bleach, not have laid in a public ditch, not have overdosed on her medication, hell, not having flashed a random guy in a video chat in 7th grade with a group of friends, none of this would've happened.

TL;DR: Shoulda kept her tits to her 7th grade self or called the police instead of being an attentionwhore and laying in a ditch for all to see after having sex with a guy in 8th grade and getting beat up by his gf.
