well it seems that it goes slow at certain times then. I checked my YouTube now and its faster now.  It was a bad idea of Google to buy YouTube off the original owners |

no it wasnt, youtube used to be shit, google video was better at the time for longer videos, now with google buying youtube it has improved significantly, except for maybe the UI, which you can change anyways |
