i have 7 steam games installed and i wana install windows 64bit (i have now 32bit windows) and i wonder is there some way i can put games on my external hard drive so i dont need to download them again?

Go to your programs folder into /steam/ and copy /steamapps/ to your external, install steam again after you reformat and paste /steamapps/ back in there.
It will still have to verify the files and apply patches, but it's a lot faster than re-downloading if you have slow internet.

ok, thanks. and how long will it take it to verify the files and apply patches? | 7 games, I'd say 30 minutes or so. Maybe an hour. But you really only need to verify the ones you want to play at that time. Don't need to do them all at once.

k...
is it worth to install 64bit windows because 500mb of ram and 500mb of GPU? and am i going to be able then to play normally crysis 2.

isn't there an actual backup feature? | yes, right click on the steam game hit properties or back up or some shit, its around there, it creates multiple cd images or 2 iso's depending on the size of the game, and then you can just load them from back up, its pretty useful for organizing, if I had the hdd space id back up all the steam games I own
