Windows update, restart, second hard drive gone.
Not just unnumbered. Gone.
Not present in the Device manager at all.

Fucking hell. No movie tonight, I guess.

That's what has been happening to me lately. I turn off my computer, open up the case, unplug everything to the hard drive, then plug everything back in, then boot up.

I boot up into BIOS, everything ok in there.
Log in, HDD still missing.
Open up laptop, replug the drive, still missing.
Replug my MAIN drive, it's back.

Wat.
