I tested a pair along with 3 others at guitar center, and these were clearly the best choice. They seriously have so much better sound quality than anything I've ever heard.

I've heard of monitor ear buds and I couldn't help but laugh at how bad they must be.

It does not require an amp. It just draws more power from the source. It is compatible with most devices and computers that use the standard 1/8 jack. also comes with an adapter for other types of jacks.

are you serious, just look at the frequency range of earbuds, then compare them to these headphones, and good studio monitors, better yet let me look them up for you.

http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/SE425

Frequency Range 20Hz-19kHz

http://north-america.beyerdynamic.com/shop/hah/headphones-and-headsets/studio-and-stage/studio-headphones/dt-770-pro.html

5 - 35,000 Hz

http://www.krksys.com/krk-studio-monitor-speakers/rokit/rokit-rp10-3.html

31Hz - 20kHz

Clearly these headphones are superior in almost every way, if you look past the frequency range as well. the clarity is going to be great as well. But having some of the best monitors you can get like the KRK's are useful as well, simply because they give off a different sound than the headphones.

>770 80ohm

Nice choice brah. Slightly jelly because I really want to try some 770s with my zo amp. Still happy with my M80s and Aurvana 3s though.

Go ahead and prove me you see a difference between 20k and 35k hertz, your brain bottlenecks you.

Ok let me show you. I'll make a clip

EDIT: I don't have an EQ that can adjust that high, but trust me, you lose some noise and fullness when you get rid of that 15k of hertz
