While trying to look for unlimited ammo, I could not do so without first checking "unrandomizer" in cheat engine. I would like to know what this does and why I couldn't search for the values without it (I know that while activating this, you get a brief description, but I would like to know more in depth if possible)
Second, while trying to locate the pointer, I go through 3 levels of pointers to get to the magical static green addresses. I added all 3, named them unlimited ammo, restarted the game and found that only one worked the same way after. This left one address, and it seemed my job was done. (I followed the standard procedure for finding pointers; find out what accesses the address, input offsets, etc)
Happy I was until that static green address suddenly changed the value from whatever it was to "??" Now, my question is, why is this static address suddenly changing? Doesn't the whole concept of "static" refer to unchanging values? (Before you ask, I did rehook the process) I did untick "unrandomizer" once I found the static addy since I figure it wouldn't change on me. Oh, and the game in question is "Deus Ex: Human Revolution"
(Also would like to add that even though there are trainers/cheat tables out here on the forums, it's more fun to find it myself)
Thanks for any help you may offer.
