Hello all.

I've made numerous Dofus bots for my own personal use with AutoIT. They work fine, but I've been trying to make them much more efficient by adding the capability to read memory.

For example, for my farming bot I'd like to add the functionality so it knows exactly how much weight you're carrying, instead of the
somewhat sloppy method I currently use. (Pixel checking)

All I need to do is find a base pointer for an address. Easy enough, however, when it comes to Dofus, I just can't seem to be able to find a base level pointer to anything! I'm no stranger to pointers, and I'm not to shabby at working through them, but with Dofus, after finding the first pointer, it just becomes a dead end.

Either one of two situations occur:
A: Nothing will write to/access the pointer so I can't progress.
or
B: What will write/access the address leads me in a circle (The "More Info" window recommends scanning the same hexadecimal value as before)


Does anyone here have any experience with this situation? Or even Dofus in particular?

Dofus is an online game, so any code you might use won't work online.
as for a private server, you'll have to be sure: what process you target cheat engine.
if all above is sure.
try pointer scanner, it works just fine in those situations.
