Gender is fixed by biological constraints. There are some people who have psychological issues that make them feel otherwise, that doesn't change facts. I may feel like I'm a dolphin, it doesn't mean that species is a fluid concept.
Issues that transgendered people have are caused by enzyme deficiencies in utero that lead to improper hormone levels which causes deformities. Those people are biologically male or female via the presence or absence of a Y chromosome. Their congenital abnormalities don't change the definitions of words. A baby born with renal agenesis doesn't cause the presence of kidneys to be a social construct.
Person beliefs and feelings which lack evidence are of no use. There is no sociology required here. Facts are not "discriminatory" or "sexist". Altering facts so they don't offend anyone shouldn't be important. Implementing flawed, personal beliefs into education should not be considered progress.

we have different hormones that make us think differently from the opposite gender aswell.
