Well it had genuine windows on it but the person I got it from didn't have the cd anymore so I was like fuck it.
Anyway I fixed it.

Sort of, you have to edit the certificate and windows key files, then run the validator which unlocks windows once it's genuine.

| Really? When I install Windows I only have to enter a serial ID and I'm done. I think it let's you defer the date you do that to do date you installed. By like a month or something

Oh, well, if you have a real serial, yes, but in my case I'm creating fake oem certificates since it's a used pc and I don't have the cd/serial.

| Find someone who owns an MSDN license. I think all levels have unlimited OS keys. I have the VC++ MSDN Ultimate license which is around 10-15k then 5k a year I think. Basically it allows you to download any Microsoft software with unlimited keys. Also allows you to download stuff early. Anyway my point is find someone with one of these subscriptions willing to trust you with keys.

Just checked, and you're right. But I got different keys for downloading the 32 & 64 bit, or any other language version.
