But its similar enough to CoD to have the skills carry over very easily, but having an extremely high skill cap in comparison.
Playing quake and tf2 wont help you as much due to the extreme differences in the games.
Examples being no headshots in tf2, and extremely high speed in comparison with quake.

Not really to be honest. It's all transferable regardless of the similarities if you're not a dumbass.
Oh god I tried playing counter strike once and basically you die as soon as you spawn.
I was like nope and closed it forever.
Just learn how the game works, use the scout sniper rifle and outsmart them enough to be in a good position to aim your way to the top of the scoreboard.
