Hi
I have recently learned to create a d3d9 hook in c++ and managed to display usefull data on the screen
(done for Dawn of War 2 Retripution, Maphack, RadarHack + resources on the screen... etc)
Cheatengine is great for injecting/modifying the code and finding usefull values in memory. but is there a way to hook DirectX from cheatengine and display those values on the screen?
is there such a plugin for cheatengine?

6.2 will have a directx hook specifically for rendering a gui and data

You can download it in the beta section. Don't hesitate to ask questions, the api might be confusing (e.g rules about transparency)

main.lua in the beta contains the functions
also, here is a fix for systems without the debug runtime of visual studio: http://cheatengine.org/temp/fixeddx9.rar
here is an example:

tip: Instead of creating a form you can also just create an image and render the text in there and then pass that off as an overlay
tip2: There's nothing stopping you making an overlay the exact size as the screen (updates might be a bit slower)
