I guess it would if I understood a thing they were talking about.
I don't really see the point in rooting unless I'm replacing the OS, which I don't plan on doing, but everyone is saying root your phone anyway because it's like jailbreaking.
But I'm confused because there are no limits like iOS so why would you need to?
Anyway I just wanted to get some quick cash in Frontline Commando... If the data for that is stored in the android registry then I should be able to edit it from a computer or something right?
I've done this sort of stuff with iOS so I'm just assuming it's the same or similar.

Yah bascally. You really don't need a kernal for hacks. Rooting your specific phone is kinda like unlocking user permissions in your phone you couldn't do. They have a tool in the market which is similar to the command prompt in which you could use that for doing other stuff but you would need superuser. Anywys, if you find out its located in the android registry, or the droidgamesregistry; you could still change it from a cpu. Otherwise you need it to be rooted. Not all games can be edited from those registries due to the permissions being blocked. Those permissions are just abilities that your phone hid from you. I'm still new, so I'm just looking through my now unhidden files and such seeing what I can tamper with. Also, my windows theme with the new battery time on my phone is indeed sexi. It came with the bali2.2g
Edit: they're basically talking like we talk in how we code. They just found a different way in doing it. I think shot has way more knowledge in this kind of coding
