Hi Guys

I'm trying to find a pointer for the attack value of a unit in aoe.

I can find the address who has the attack value and can succesfully change it. The problem is, when i do a complete pointer scan i get about 10millions results. But all of them change every time, so there is not a single one who is a real pointer.
So i tried to find the pointer by looking what writes the address, but had no luck their either, because it always tells me that the value is the same as the address itself. Searching the address as a value in hex didn't work either.

Anyone have any tips?

if you want to get a satisfactory answer, give more information about your problem like how and when the addresses change, how many levels of pointers you have scanned. Show an image if possible or give exact version of the game. If you don't want to share your information, I don't think anyone can help you. Everytime I have a problem, I search for the knowledge first because it help me understand and decribe the problems easily so that anyone else can give clear answers. Fortunately, I usually solve problems myself when my knowlegde has been widened. Yet that's not means I don't have any unsolved problems. I still have many problems that I can't expect answers that I can apply to myself.
