| I was wondering, since you live in Egypt and the media tends to be biased as fuck, how is the situation in Egypt currently? All I'm hearing on TV is how we should get you money to rebuild the economy. There isn't much attention anymore on how the people themselves are experiencing this issue. The way the media currently portrays it, makes it seem like it's complete anarchy. With talks about rape of an American news reporter, pillaging, and all that. I find it hard to believe the entire country is in this state.

First of all , yes the media is Biased even here.
About the raping and thugs these are a minority (like in an country) they are people who have no Beliefs and are actually created by the corrupted system we had as some of them have hate towards everyone else because they live a really hard life and they see the rich people spending money like crazy (I am not justifying what they are doing because it is wrong and I am completely against it) and the others are doing it for money.
The situation here is a bit tricky right now , we are lying between a really thin line that might cause the whole revolution to become a failure.
The supreme council of armed forces which is currently ruling the country is proving everyday that it is a part of the corruption.
We are having trials for our ex-president "Mubarak" but the trials dont seem to be going anywhere and are just a way to calm down the people untill the council finds a way to make "mubarak" innocent.
In my Humble opinion , I think Egypt doesn't need to rebuild the economy just yet. The Wealthy people here are the most corrupt because they used to steal and bribe. I think the whole system need to be demolished and we should start from ground Zero.
It might seem a bit un-realistic but the Corruption is really deep in this country and there is no use just removing the shallow part of it.

Sounds like it's rough over there, but not as rough as the media makes it out to be. Hope the billions being pumped into the economy will turn out to make a difference.

Yes , the media is making it look like there are riots.
I am a bit negative about this ... but I think the money pumped into the "economy" isn't actually affecting the economy and people in high positions are still taking advantage of that money like before :/ that's just my opinion and there hasn't been any proofs ... yet.
Anyway , I am really glad that people actually think about what's happening here and don't consider us enemies/terrorists.

We do, we do.
We just want to know if the terrorists we're paying are doing a good job.

Well the rest of the world is pretty much buying and dividing up your country, so there isn't a real threat.
