Help w/ GTX 460 to TV via HDMI

i wanted to hook up my pc via HDMI(mini hdmi adapter to hdmi) to tv but it gives me weird colors and stuff like that. Currently im using VGA(my old cable from before with adapter from DVI) connection for the TV and it works fine, its just the HDMI that gives me trouble. I tried a second cable cuz i though it might be that but no, its same result so any help? is it the mini hdmi adapter?

Did you get the adapter with the video card or did you buy it separately?
You may want to try out a cable

Mini to HDMI one came with the card and yeah im already planing to buy that cable soon, but also looking for other possibilities. It might not be the cable thats at fault. I also tried reinstalling drivers n etc but still same.

so i got the new Mini HDMI to HDMI cable today and still the same problem. So what up with that? is my GFX cards mHDMI output fcked?

Call in. Let the customer service handle it. That's their problem if you can't get it to work without doing something special.
