I don't really understand your question.
Are you asking if there is a way to disable purplebean.exe?

Open "gpedit.msc" (Local Group Policy Editor).
Computer Configuration -> Security Settings -> Software Restriction Policies* -> Additional Rules -> New Path Rule "%purplebean.exe%" with Security level as "Disallowed."
*If you've never used these before, they won't be created yet. To create the listings like they should be, click on the "Action" item next to "File" (or right click) and click "New Software Restriction Policies."
You will need to restart to have the settings be applied.

this only works for the professional version of windows xp, not home edition... same might be with windows 7

Or you could simply goto All Programs | Statup remove it from there if it is there, or edit the registry to remove it from startup. Open command prompt type regedit press enter
Make sure your task is not in these locations
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnce
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnce
Or in the search field type msconfig then click what pops up, select the Startup tab and deselect purplebean program.
Or under Control Panel | Administrative Tools | Services
If it runs as a service you can set it disabled here.
