I liked them quite a bit. Gets pretty jumpy if you play it in the dark.

fear 1 is good
fear 2 is more action
dont ge f3ar 3 since it just fucking sucks

fear series arent really a horror adventure like penumbra. its more of an fps/action.

Just play clock tower or silent hill. Devil may cry 1 made me scared at some parts. But that was a long time ago. Idk about now.
