I have been having little luck with getting good minecraft maps. I have been trying to make a map that fits the following description:
-Very little/no desert
-Two VERY LARGE continents seperated by a VERY LARGE ocean
-Continent 1 should have HUGE flat prairies/plataus
-It can have a good amount of mountainous terrain, but only if it has huge flat areas.
-C1 should have some big forests
-C2 I don't care about quite as much in terms of landscape. Lots of mountains are fine.
That's just about it. So far, my luck has been failing me, despite making AT LEAST 20 maps and none of them fitting what I want.
So, I was wondering if anyone would like to help me and try and generate a map that fits what I need.

| MCEdit is pretty good to use. Does not take a while to learn. If you do use it, let me know if you have any questions.

I can use mcedit to do some stuff, but can you do large scale landscaping with it?

I can use mcedit to do some stuff, but can you do large scale landscaping with it?

Idk. There was some mod I remember skimming through a while back that had a sort of "scripting" system for generating maps.
