Does anyone use a Java AOT? If so, which?

I've looked into GJC, but have had problems getting Cygwin/MinGW working in the past (a long time ago). Generally, I use a Debian workstation to do Linux-related tasks, but I am not savvy enough to cross compile.

Any suggestions? The specific reason I want to use an AOT is because I don't want people to easily be able to view my source code and grab data which I've worked hard to mine. I don't think an obfuscator would do a good enough job, but am open to hearing everyone's ideas.

This looks something too good to be true. But I wouldn't know because I haven't looked into it yet.

AOT isn't too good to be true but it is not straightforward to link the files, etc.

Also, you basically need to include the entire JVM into your binary file, which means you're looking at a base size for executables of about 20MB.

It's true, just not too good Wink
