Depends on which android, most are terrible.

| I've tried both as well. Albeit a year ago. During that time I found the iPhone to be better. Recent android phones made me wonder though. There is not really anything new or innovative about the new iPhone, so now I'm leaning towards the android for my next phone. Awaiting the iPhone 5 though.

used to own an iPhone.
switched to Android and am fucking glad beyond belief.
my gf got an iPhone from her friend for free and a few nights back she said look what I can do with this and showed me the usual crap and I said, impressive BUT I can also do all of that and more for my phone which costs tons less and needless to say she want's to buy a new phone 
More expensive doesn't always mean better, look at macs for example.
(Oh hai Apple.)

Yes, other than the fact iPhone has inferior hardware compared to android phones that cost more than £150.
Android could use MIUI if you like the look of iPhone.

I'd rather have apps I need and have fun with with a phone that has decent enough hardware to play REAL BIG games such as spectral souls which is a PSP game which requires a decent-ish GPU and CPU, both of which iPhone lacks and even a £100 Android can run this game.
Just so you know iPhone has an Arm processor like a £100 Android (San Francisco) and that's why I said a £150+ Android beats iPhone hands down because it just simply does, no arguing needed.
