hey guys i want to know what to salvage from my old broken computer so i came to the pros. it reportable died from a hard drive failure so i thought i'd crack it open. i managed to get the hard drive to work again so i got all my software i just want extra hardware for my new computer

We need a lot more details.

What are the parts you currently have?

What parts are you looking for?

Compatibility might be an issue, as with... I think its called bottlenecking?

The only things worth salvaging is the hard drive and DVD roms, if you have any expansion cards you can salvage them as well. For motherboard, ram, and CPU that all depends. Post complete system specs.
