That's fucking expensive! Looked around the specs and couldn't spot anything that should make it cost that much...

dual core i7, 1gb GPU.

Building a desktop with those specs would cost about £400-500...

All I see is arguments about it being expensive and not weighing up against the specs, but have you really looked at the item? It's a 13,1 inch model with an Intel Core i7, decent graphics card, 256GB SSD, bluray drive and much more. Not to mention a keyboard that's lit so I can work through those late hours.

The reason I'm buying a laptop, is because I already have a desktop with the specs shown in the attachment, and I need a fucking laptop. Since I'm not going to spend 500 euros on a laptop that's going to piss me off after a month, I want a good one now.

256GB SSD is the only thing warranting that high price...I mean that's like $600-700 right there.

Indeed on the pricey side, but I believe it's become a bit cheaper now. Around $400~500 I believe?

I wish I cared enough to upgrade the Primary HDD and get an SSD for the subscore to go up. ;____; Stupid 5400rpm.

For the love of crap: upgrade you muppet! Not to get your score up, but performance-wise an SSD really makes a difference. It's a pity because the rest of your stats exceed mine by 0.1 (CPU) to 0.4 (graphics). I promise you you'll notice the difference immediately, I know I did (And I was on RAID0 2x1GB 7200RPM HDDs). I recommend Intel if you have money to burn, or OCZ if you want a good performance/price ratio.

I'll be getting 7200 HDD in the near future anyway, as for an SSD, I'll see how it goes. I was thinking of investing in one in summer, but I'm not a PC enthusiast and my PC already runs mad smooth, though I understand the benefits getting one poses.

Ani, you aren't going to use a SSD for your primary drive are you?
