Is there a function or method can can convert byte signatures to inline asm? This question is out of my plain curiousity. I know that there are plenty of functions which can convert byte singatures to hexadecimal, but I don't know whether there are functions for inline asm. If there are any methods or functions, can you please share?

I asked the same-ish question before, http://fix.forum.cheatengine.org/viewtopic.php?p=4963634&sid=09847fef5304f4ac41952e6982cd23b7

What do you mean by your question ? A byte signature is simply a set of bytes with the option of wildcards at any point. Inline asm is a language.. or rather the incorporation of a piece of assembler code into a source. The only thing I can think of is you want to generate a 'db' statement to declare it ?

Or do you mean you want raw bytes to be converted to assembler opcodes ? If so, you need to look into disassemblers and/or their supporting libraries.

@slugsnack

What I mean is that 50 (byte) is push eax in asm, now what i'm asking is, is there a predefined library with a function that can take the byte signature and convert into asm or would I have to make my own function? I did do plenty of research but came up with barely any good results.

YES I JUST TOLD YOU. That's exactly what a disassembler does. All you have to do is google for that.

I've been interested in the same thing for quite some time, but I can't come across a good command line disassembler/assembler. Most of the ones I see only convert files, whereas I'd like to convert a simple string input. Has anything like this just flew over my head or is there not such thing around?

Assembling would be nice too. I've tried to figure out DarkBytes, but I've failed.
