My internet connection isn't bad, but people on L4D keep calling me a lagger.
Any methods of fixing this horrible ping?

Here's a possible solution:
If you happen to have uTorrent open but paused all downloads it will still eat your internet.
This is a common solution, so you might have an entirely different problem.

Nope. Just as usual, people are kicking me a few seconds after login. |
Assuming you're smart enough to close all your downloads before you play; Try Port Forwarding.
