Should I change my build? It's currently:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130568 (Graphics Card)

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822152185(HDD)

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145258 (RAM x2)

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811119196 (Case)

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139006 (PSU)

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16827136177 (Optical Drive)

--------------------

Is Sandy Bridge significantly better than the 1G i7's? Should I change my build or no? Because I heard Sandy Bridge's integrated graphics is on par with the 260. Well anyhow, bottom line is, should I change my build or not?

The good Sandy Bridge processors aren't coming out until Q3. Your build looks alright.

The i5 2500K outperforms the i7 950 slightly, so it's not worth upgrading.

Besides, your current rig should last you a good 3 to 4 years, so why are you in such a rush to upgrade anyways? Just sit and wait, and you can upgrade when Intel releases its new platforms.

I don't think he's bought it yet, that was the build he was planning to buy and is wondering if he should still buy it.

Oh. Then, yes, he should definitely change it.

The i5 2500K outperforms the i7 950, and is cheaper but around 50-70 dollars. The mobo should be cheaper too.
