okay im thinking of upgrading my XP to 7 but im wondering would it be good or bad?

AMD Athlon II X2 250 27 °C

4.0GB Dual-Channel DDR2 @ 401MHz (6-6-6-1

oya and im thinking of upgrading it too. about 300~400$

Chip can handle it, you would be able to take advantage of the 64-bit capabilities of your chip. Don't really think you would see a hellified performance increase. May even be a bit more sluggish than XP.
Note I'm not a hardwarephile, this is just my opinion.

BEST THING IVE EVER DONE IN MY LIFE.
even though i had to take out my graphics card cause it made the installment black screen so it worked after i took it out.

Your 4600 must be old as hell then. It should have worked fine. Did it install and work after you installed windows?

Im just asking but how can i know if i CAN change MY PROCESSOR TO A QUAD CORE? and my MOTHERBOARD SUPPORTS IT?
i got 600Watt power supply too
