Installing it now.
Haven't played it but i heard that it was the FPS game that made FPS shooting games for PC popular...
The Game that started it all.

Compared to what we have now it will be like playing Pong when you grew up with Pac-Man.

But at least he's going to find out what real gameplay is instead of walking in one direction and doors closing behind you forever and when on a crossroad have the ability to go all ways instead of only being able to go one way.

ooh, and no invisible walls

(really, it won't take long before the walking part is completely removed from fps games and all you have to do is point and click, in the general direction)

Yeah, and don't forget to hit space on every Hitler painting. They are usually secret doors. Smile

I have Doom 1 + 2.....
I'm planning to mod Wolfenstein one's finished with it.....
I both like Doom and Wolf3D, classics!
They have a unique gameplay.

I don't really care about the graphics and sound. But the gameplay is quite good compared to earlier versions of FPS games. The most fascinating thing i love about this game are the hidden treasure rooms! They give GOODIES Very Happy

! I quite am curious about the fact that it was banned in germany when the game was realease.... And the SNES version was horrible...(Blood was replaced with sweat and dogs became rats)I shall add more weapons ones i've configured my Borland C++ Compiler 3.1

I wouldn't really catagorize it as a horrorgame. There's not really anything that goes peekaboo on you. It's pretty similar to the Wolfenstein game, except it's not as maze-like, but faster paced action from the start.

When you're done modding Wolf3D, I'd love to see it.
