Hey guys,
I've been hacking WolfTeam lately, and i'm trying to find the ammo address. I found it, but it was dynamic so I did a pointer scanner and got pointer to that address. Whenever I tried to use that pointer to obtain my address, it always failed for some reason so I began to investigate more. I found out that each time I open a new room and play the ammo address changes, knowing this I realized why my pointers didn't work <- they were pointing to different addresses each time.
Now i'm stuck and I don't know what I should do, the address is different in each room I play in, what can I do guys? Should I scan for a byte signature to that address (I do know what region that address is in, so that scan can be faster then scanning from 10000 to 7FFFFFFF).

perhaps you'll need the pointer to the pointer which points to the value ?
and byte signature might work if it's in a class object and it's a unique class (so not reused by other things)

That didn't work, it seems like everytime there is a new game, a new ammo address is allocated.
I had this:

WolfTeam.bin + 00311384 -> 1FF5CC74 + 2AC -> 2061083C
|
Then, when I used this in my dll, it pointed to a wrong address which wasn't ammo because ammo is now a different address.
EDIT
Most of these address change when a new room is created, for example, the address that specifies which team your on was: 001BA1C4
I created a new room, and the team address was different, how can I go around this?
