| So yeah,,, whenever I set a screensaver, and wait for it to come, my screen just goes black. I set it to 2 min - 60 min and it doesn't work. I have patched theme files if this has anything to do with it.

| Is it a custom screensavee or just any screensaver?

If it just goes black then it means you have the screen set to auto power off
Control Panel\Hardware and Sound\Power Options\Edit Plan Settings
Try setting the screen to never power off.
Then for your screen saver, set it to Mystify then CLICK on the preview button. If that works then try leaving the computer alone for it to go to screen saver mode.
