| it just seems as time goes on, their music just gets more dull or worse each album and that their first is usually their best. sure ill listen to new ones but after a while I still prefer the older ones

You know what, ill agree with that, but a lot of their songs sound the same imo.
in related news:
"On October 26, 2010, Swire announced via Twitter that a new record is in the works. I dont know what to think of this and will have to wait and see what happens.
like original post states, I think their first album is the best.

Pretty much.
They put all their effort into their first album to try to get big > They get big > Oh crap we need to write more music. Then around the 4th album they start to get better again.
But then again there are some exceptions, InMe for example, I like all of their albums. They are a relatively small band so put more effort in. If they wanted to they could probably sell out but they don't want to.
