How do I cheat?

In Game Maker 5 
6 doesn't work on Windows 7, later than that is harder to aquire via alternate means.
I was expecting it to feel old and crappy, but it doesn't, not at all! at least no more old and crappy than later GMs. I kind of prefer C++ with SDL, but right now I just want to put something together without having to focus on engine code. (Shit, maybe I'll port (read: remake) it when I'm done.)
The fact that Iji was made in GM5 made me more confident about it. GML being C-style helps too.

So, the woman, premmie bullet, fatty bullet, some enemies (any ideas?) and a nice background. You choose the resolution and style, as long as it's consistent and all fits together.

No it isn't lol. The only thing it's good for is tricking kids that just got out of high school into thinking they're doing game design when in actual fact they're doing a media course with some clicking on a shitty program.

| Game Maker isn't inherently bad, it just results in metric fucktons of terrible, terrlble games due to the low barrier to entry. Sadly, this often results in GOOD games slipping through the cracks.

It isn't the best (or even one of the best) program(s) for high end games, or low end games. There are better (WAYYYYYYYYYY BETTER) alternatives.
