Given the formula sin(X+Y) = (cosX)(sinY)+(cosY)(sinX) the X and Y variables could be practically anything given that it adds up to 0 or 2π.
Unless that was not the point of the question, yes, (cosX)(sinY)+(cosY)(sinX) can equal 0.

ex. anything with pi/4 and it's multiples.
