So I just went all Alpha Male Supreme on my wife's sister's bf.
Here's what happened:
I arrive home from work with my bro like two hours early cuz we honestly didn't need the money and the other, older guys at the garage actually did. So anyways, I head home two hours earlier.
-There's a car parked in my house's drive way. Some jeep I've never laid eyes on.
-I get inside, and immediately notice a male jacket on my living room's entrance.
". . ."
-I hear that there's a shower running up stairs and that the door's open(hence why i can hear the shower).
-Ok, i chose to not think of the worse and head to the kitchen.
-There's some dickwad in a basketball shorts and his t-shirt off and thrown over a kitchen chair. Never seen the dude, and he's acting like he lives in my house.
don't know what happened, but I slugged him.
He tries to fight back, bro tries to step in, but we make too much noise.
-Wife comes running downstairs, sees guy on on floor with a busted lip, gasps, and slaps me after I ask who the fuck this retard was.
-turns out my wife's sister had come to visit with her new BF and they had both just finished jogging(wife's sister was taking a shower upstairs)
wife b mad at me, sister in law thinks i'm a dick, and now i feel like an ass because wife thinks that I thought she was cheating on me.
wat do D:?

I personally believe that if you love someone there should be enough trust to not ever think she could cheat on you.
But that's just me.

But that's just me. | trust is emotional thinking and we all know rsx is very rational and intellectual and only did that because of the proof there was, things could have been done to prevent that. and instead of everyone forgiving him (except maybe from the guy being mad he got the piss beat out of him) they did not see his side of things and automatically assumed he thought his wife was cheating

This(for the most part). D:
I trust her(unconditionally) and we have a very intimate relationship going on, so emotions are definitely there. It's just that this event was a tad awkward and it pissed me off. I also had every reason to question why there was a guy wearing nothing but shorts, sweating, in my kitchen, and with my wife upstairs taking a shower with the door open(something she never does when there's visitor's in house). Also, her sister drives a black mustang, not a Jeep. None of my friends, or her friends owns a Jeep.
and i honestly feel like shit about this ._.
This is the first time I've ever found myself questioning her.
I don't know how to apologize without taking back what I did. The thing about me in real life is that when i feel satisfied with my initial action, i never go back on it. Wife knows this, and she knows that me telling an apology to this dude would be a lie on my part.
I'm thinking of just telling her openly the reason why I actually punched the guy, but it would just reinforce her negative opinions on this event.
sighhhhh life sucks ._.

I haven't been on CEF in a long time. It's unlikely that she'll read this anymore given that she's so busy with li'l Sofie<3 and doesn't go online much either.

Wait, you have a daughter now?
@Topic
Maybe what you could do is try to talk to her, make her put herself in your shoes, it was an awkward situation (you get home from job early, almost naked dude in your kitchen, wife upstairs taking a shower) it would be normal to think something like that.
Also, you could just say sorry for confusing him with a stranger, not for beating him up.

Sophie was born on a month ago <3 (Nov 10)
As for my problem here: i feel like claire will get even angrier when I verify her opinions even further. Although this is what I'll need to do. The only way of me putting her in my shoes is to ask her how she would feel like if she came home and find a topless chick in the kitchen. This is awfully insensitive to say and it does not change the fact that I thought wrong of her.
..but still, honesty regardless of how harsh it is solves problems better than lies.

Hey bro I'd have done the same thing, even if I already knew who they were.
NOBODY gets to waltz around my house half naked.

Maybe you can skip the topless part.
Just say, barely dressed.
