Isn't letting me connect to it. i'm pretty confused. Im on ethernet cable so I cant see whats wrong
I need it to port forward. Anyone help? I cant reset the router right now by the way

shouldnt he be able to connect to a "192.168.1.1" even if he's not on his network?
it's just someone else's 192.168.1.1
but back on topic did you change your router to something like 192.168.1.2
Last resort: reset router?

You should be looking for the Gateway IP address. Should be 192.168.X.1 where X is usually 1 or sometimes 0.
