I updated to 4.3, because this was the first time in a year that i've touched the system. I want to get the Homebrew channel but the recent update makes it impossible.

Put the .dol on your SD card (there should be an optimized one for the 4.3), go to Saved Data, view SD card, and it should launch the installer for either homebrew or bootmii.

Anyways I still run on 2.6, bro. I downgraded to it and its amazing.

Since you did have prior versions of wii firmware, you can downgrade back to it. The problem with new wii is they lck the IOS for the firmware version. So 4.0 and 4.1 use ios 60. New 4.2 and 4.3 will lack it. If you had 4.1U you could downgrade to it. I've downgraded my wii from 4.1 to 3.2 :D currently on 4.1 though.

I could always give you the file I currently have off my SD card. Like Hero said though, you'd have to downgrade to 4.1 before you can downgrade any lower
