Pics if you want, I don't have any atm though.
I'll start: My current base is a 3- story (each story 10x10x3) castle with a 20x20 roof. Still under construction, my old one was a treehouse. Natural one. I also have a lava mote which is 4 wide/2 deep, surrounding the fort and is mostly full.
Planning on building an extra tower on top of the castle/tower/thing.

I have a trench base with a big tower going out into the sea and I also have an underground base beside a man-made waterfall on the beach. Any questions?
