Not so much like legos. If you buy the game you can play a very addicting survival game in which you need to farm, build, mine, smelt, craft, and hunt to stay alive from the many (and more to be added) "mobs". The mobs are like monsters, but they vary in size shape color and effects. See more here: http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Mobs
You can also make advanced traps with wires, doors, explosives, and much MUCH more. The game also has dynamic liquid systems, ambient noise, and light systems, which add to the atmosphere. There's much much more, but I can't go into too much detail. Read the Wiki.
If you play the free version you pretty much only build shit with unlimited resources, but that's not as fun as the paid version because it's pretty outdated and never gets updated. :\

and it' not complicated at all. Left click to destroy blocks, right click to place

I meant what did you use to make the walls :\
Cuboid is a program that automatically generates basic shapes. If you seriously made all those walls by hand, then kudos to you.
Also, In the event that the weighted companion cube does speak, the Enrichment Center urges you to disregard its advice.
