Alright, what your going to do is grab some peroxide to clean the infected cut, after that (yes it is going to sting) get some polysporin and apply it to the cut. After that put a band-aid on the cut and change it every 2~3 days and check out the gash is doing.

Try to add more polysporin to the infected area before changing the band-aid. This will work for and show good results quickly and effectively.

I hope this helps, and it doesn't hurt to much.

I say open the gash even more with a knife then do the same to the other arm, it will leave a wicked awesome scar.
