This worked for me and it will be here tomorrow, so if you use one please post the one you use so problems can be avoided ;D
Product was sidewinder X8, idk why I edited
**To do this you must be intelligent and able to think on your feet**
1) Call Microsoft Number: 1-800-642-7676
2) Talk with a Agent (Technical Support)
3)BS through troubleshooting, they might ask for PoP, if so use another PiD and call back until you get an agent that is not as smart.
3)Wait 7-10 days for delivery.

PID stands for Product Identification (Product ID). There is absolutely zero reason for why the I would be lowercase in the acronym. If anything, the D could be written lowercase, but identification is always written as ID instead. Never iD, or Id, but ID. So product ID would be PID.
